A Different Wind Story...

We hear how Nebraska needs to climb aboard the wind energy train.  As with every green energy project that comes along...or any business for that matter...they won't fly without subsidies...tax credits or grants.  Here is a story from the American Thinker that shows the other side of wind energy you rarely read or hear about.

Interesting reading. I just talked to a guy yesterday that said he leased a very small peice of his land for test metering the wind for a possible wind turbine. He got pretty good money for it,

He claims a guy or corporation from Texas is buying ag land in southern Nebraska and Kansas to put up a wind farm. I believe he said the firm was out of Colorado.

Thanks for this post ... I have long felt that wind energy is a major scam - the link you provide more than proves my suspicions. I especially liked the last line ... something to the effect that wind energy was akin to "providing energy by burning dollars".

Too true ...

Drill, baby, drill!

Sorta like AGW...you hear what the media and government wants you to hear.

Nothing like the glow of a reactor on a chilly night.
